Who We Are

Hack the Gap empowers people and businesses to grow through accessible, workforce-ready tech training and digital consulting.

We make technology easy, inclusive, and actionable, helping you go from gap to growth, through learning and opportunity, and helping communities and small businesses thrive in an ever-evolving digital world.

What Is the
Digital Readiness Program?

The Digital Readiness Program, led by Hack the Gap in partnership with Hennepin County, helps community members build essential digital skills through hands-on learning and personalized support. The program offers free drop-in classes and one-on-one tech help for residents with little to no prior technical experience.

The program includes two main offerings:

Tech Drop-In

Tech Drop-In sessions provide one-on-one and small-group technology assistance. These sessions are offered at least two times per month and support residents with a wide range of digital needs, including using devices, navigating online tools, completing digital tasks, and troubleshooting technology issues.

Focus Topic Sessions

Focus Topic Sessions are monthly workshops that cover specific digital technology topics in more depth. These sessions support foundational skill-building and encourage continued participation in related programs, such as Tech Drop-In
