We host hackathons for women and non-binary individuals. After a weekend of hacking, we invite the community to see the projects built at the event. In this work, we showcase the work of women and non-binary individuals demonstrating that pipeline is an excuse.

what people are saying

"Can't wipe the smile off my face while I head home from Hack the Gap. Had a blast hacking with 5 new girlfriends. Can't wait for the demos!"

Kim Gerst, 2015 Hacker

"It demonstrated the brilliance of the Minnesota women developer community, while having the primary focus be "we're BRILLIANT developers" rather than "we're FEMALE developers" - and that's a very fine line to walk but a very important one."

Anonymous, 2015 Volunteer

"The energy is infectious - being involved in the creation process and seeing the cool things people made really inspired me to continue on my learning journey."

Anonymous, 2015 Hacker

Hack the Gap is the total awesome package of women and tech and apps and cool stuff. So fun.
